King’s College London talk: Nathan Carlig on ‘The “Cairo Empedocles”. New verses of the Physika from P.Fouad inv. 218 (late 1st cent. CE)’

On Friday 26th May 2023, Nathan Carlig (Université de Liège) will visit London and deliver a talk entitled: ‘The “Cairo Empedocles”. New verses of the Physika from P.Fouad inv. 218 (late 1st cent. CE)’. In his talk, Dr Carlig will present and discuss the new papyrus evidence for Empedocles that he had recently discovered. The talk will be followed by discussion.

The talk and discussion will take place at 17:00-19:00, in the Council Room at King’s College London’s Strand Campus, WC2R 2LS (the Council Room is located on Level 2 of the King’s Building, room K2.29). Attendance is free, but please note that registration via this online form is required for admission to Strand Campus.
