JACT Latin Summer School
20 July – 2 August 2025
Intensive courses (including three 1-hour taught sessions per day) for all levels from beginners up to A Level, as well as university students who have started Latin as adults
Focus on fluency and diversity of Latin texts – good for anyone wanting to build up their reading experience (e.g. for Oxbridge interview preparation)
Highly-qualified tutors, most of whom teach in well-established Classics departments at leading UK schools
Daily clinics to help consolidate key grammatical knowledge
A full programme of evening talks and a chance to meet leading university academics
Beautiful surroundings in the quintessential historic spa town of Harrogate in Yorkshire
Trips to Roman sites (in York and an optional weekend trip to Hadrian’s Wall) as well as events on-site (such as quiz nights and a visit from the Hellenic Bookservice)
