Summer School in Classical Languages of the University of Bologna

We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Summer School in Classical Languages of the University of Bologna will take place between Monday 16 June and Friday 4 July 2025. Applications are open!
We will offer the following intensive courses in Ancient Greek and Latin (50 hours each over 3 weeks, from Monday to Friday):
- Beginners Latin
- Intermediate Latin
- Beginners Greek
All courses will be in English. Students enrolled for a single course (Ancient Greek or Latin) will attend classes during either mornings or afternoons, while students enrolled for a double course (Ancient Greek and Latin) will attend classes during both mornings and afternoons. The courses will be held in person at the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies of the University of Bologna.
Our programme is open to students at any level and to non-students alike. Participants must be at least 18 years old or be 17 years old and be in their last year of high school. Discounts are available for those who choose to enrol for a double course, for current/former students of the University of Bologna (including EU Erasmus students), and for former SSCL students.
The application deadline is Tuesday 3 June 2024.
