We are thrilled to announce the upcoming KCL Greek Play for 2025: Elektra – A Throne Restored, a captivating modern take on the ancient Greek tragedy. Written and directed by KCL students with support from Actors of Dionysius, this production reimagines the powerful story of Elektra, a woman determined to reclaim the throne of Mycenae after her father’s brutal death. Along the way, she confronts political divisions, generational conflict, and the personal cost of justice.

The performances will take place at the Greenwood Theatre, London, 10–12 June 2025. Evening performances will be preceded by pre-show events at 6pm featuring leading scholars; these are free for that evening’s ticketholders.
