Cicero Awayday 2026: Call for Papers
Cicero Awayday 2026 will be held at UCL in London on Thursday, 7 May 2026.
As on previous occasions, this will be a forum for graduate students and colleagues to present current research on any aspect of studies on Cicero’s life and work.
Presentations will generally be 20-30 minutes, followed by a brief discussion.
Expressions of interest for presentations, including a title, an abstract of up to 300 words, name and affiliation, should be sent electronically to Kathryn Tempest (kathryn.tempest@sas.ac.uk) and Gesine Manuwald (g.manuwald@ucl.ac.uk) by Friday, 30 January 2026.
Proceedings on the day will start mid-morning and finish in the late afternoon, so that travel from many places within the UK should be possible on the same day.
As usual, refreshments and lunch during the day will be provided, but travel and any accommodation will have to be organized and funded by participants.
We look forward to seeing many Ciceronians in London next year.
