“Excavating Archaeology-Related Photographic Archives: ‘arte-facts’, shadows, and Aphrodite’s sisters”
ABSTRACT
The presentation uses the research/art project ‘arte-facts’ to explore the intricate relationship between archaeology and photography, originals and copies, and their social biographies. In this case, research and art practice are interwoven and one informs the other.
