Applications are now open for the 2025 Greek Theatre Program run by the British American Drama Academy in collaboration with the APGRD. This summer course runs for four weeks and involves extensive work with leading academics and theatre practitioners in the UK and Greece.
Students at all stages of their academic careers have the chance to immerse themselves in Greek Theatre and its reception – we visit ancient sites, rehearse in amphitheatres and have workshops with practitioners from the National Theatre of Great Britain, Complicité and the National Theatre of Greece (among many others). The academic syllabus is delivered by a variety of teachers and scholars from the APGRD and elsewhere. The course starts in London and then visits Delphi, Nafplio, and Athens before finishing with a week at the archive in Oxford.
Course dates for 2025 are 7th June – 4th July and the deadline for applications is 1 February 2025.
