Classical Civilisation CPD Day 2026
The CA Classical Civilisation CPD Day was held at the University of Warwick on 17th June 2026, with over 100 teachers joining us from across the country.
Sixteen workshops were delivered by teachers across all settings (state, independent, FE, HE) on how to improve teaching Classical Civilisation at KS3, GCSE and A level.
A common theme was recruitment and retention, closely connected to the need to build students’ confidence and their skills in literacy, essay-writing and analytical thinking. You can find our summary of the presentations delivered, and all the resources shared by clicking the link below.
Thank you to the University of Warwick for hosting our event, Classics For All for supporting state school teachers with travel bursaries, and all who attended. We look forward to seeing you again in the summer term 2027. Registration will open in the new year.
