Lee Baker
Lee is a Classics teacher at St Aloysius’ College in Glasgow. He studied Classics and English Literature at the University of Glasgow (2010-2014), before completing a PGCE in Latin with Classics at the University of Cambridge (2014-2015). In September 2024, he submitted his MPhil thesis on obscenities in Horace’s Epodes at the University of Glasgow. Lee is the chair of the Scottish Classics Teachers’ Network and works closely with the Classical Association of Scotland and Classics for All. He also serves as the Principal Assessor for National 5 Classical Studies at the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). Additionally, he has been involved in various Classics outreach programmes, such as the Iris Project, and mentors teachers upskilling in Classical Studies.
