Romans on the Tyne

Romans on the Tyne is a collaborative project aimed at engaging KS2/KS3 pupils in and around the Tyneside area with their local Roman past.

We focus on the stories of the people who lived here by exploring the objects they left behind, through freely accessible resources as well as interactive workshops where pupils explore the sights, sounds – and even smells! – of life beside Hadrian’s Wall.
