AI in teaching and learning Classics
Room G.19, Faculty of Classics, University of Cambridge, CB3 9DA
Friday 23 October 2026, 10.00am – 6.00pm
This is the third in the series of Ancient Languages Teaching Conferences, and follows last year’s successful conference on Comprehensible Input in Ancient Languages Teaching. Designed for teachers of ancient languages across both universities and schools, the event aims to deepen our collective understanding of how methods which use Generative AI can be applied in the ancient languages classroom.
Participants will discuss diverse pedagogical strategies, share practical tips for integrating Gen AI into existing schemes of work, and collaborate on new ways which enhance ancient languages education.
As Gen AI increasingly impacts on all our teaching, this event offers a crucial opportunity to learn how to adapt practices for ancient languages teaching, promoting more engaging and accessible learning experiences for students of all ages.
See here for further information and to sign up. Attendance is free of charge.
Note: this is not a Classical Association event – please contact the organisers directly with any enquiries.
