Cambridge & District Classical Association
‘Greek Theatre Reimagined’
6th November 4.30pm, Little Hall
The Classics Faculty’s Classical Reception seminar is offering a public event in celebration of the Greek Play. Writer and director, Robert Icke – celebrated (amongst other things) for landmark adaptations of both the ‘Oresteia’ and ‘Oedipus’- will offer opening reflections before joining a panel discussion, chaired by Rebecca Laemmle, and featuring Sydney Hertz, Fiona Macintosh, Shushma Malik and Rosalind Parker.
All are warmly welcome – and to join afterwards for drinks in the Museum of Classical Archaeology.
Pre-registration is not required, but space in Little Hall will be limited.
Note: for queries about any events hosted by local CA branches, please contact the branch directly (details are available on the Branches page)
